ClimateCooler Catalyst FlexRoofTopcoat

CC Catalyst FlexRoofTopcoat is a solar refl ection roof coating with built in photocatalytic
effect.
The photocatalytic activity means the coating is able to transform harmfull NOxparticles
from air pollution into harmless NO3( Nitrates). In addition to this, it has a
flexibility up to 200%.

Catalyst FlexRoofTopcoat is based on thermostabilizing polymers with excellent
adhesion, special built in photocatalytic pigments, and the latest generation of special
insulating ceramic beads used in the space industry. Added nanosilane gives the paint
a very good self-cleaning eff ect.
We now have succeeded in transferring these properties into CC Catalyst
FlexRoofTopcoat

CCC FlexRoofTopcoat is designed especially for bituminous felt roofi ng, concrete,
rust protected steel and other diffi cult surfaces.

The roof surface is provided with unique properties such as solar refl ectance and the
ability to transform NOx into NO3 when there is light and humidity present. This gives
the surface the ability to clean the air for many years in addition to its self-cleaning
eff ect. The roof surface also reduces the heat absorption up to 40% because of the
refl ective pigments. On a hot summer-day it will reduce the temperature indoors with
10-15 °C.

CC Catalyst UniRoofTopcoat off ers ultimate protection against sun, heat, rain, snow
and cold. The roof will appear nice and beautifully painted for years to come and
since the eff ect of the solar radiation is lowered dramatically, the degradation will
be reduced signifi cantly. In addition to this CC Catalyst FlexRoofTopcoat also has an
environmental benefi t because of the NOx transformation.

By using CC Catalyst FlexRoofTopcoat on a 200 m² roof it´s possible to reduce the
energy consumption for airconditioning and thereby save CO2 emission equal to 1 ton
pr. year. This amount represents 10% of the CO2 emission an average Danish person
produces every year.

It is recommended to maintain the newly painted roof with a treatment of Iso A-Clean
approx. every 2 years to keep a nice and clean surface.

Please always make a test coat to ensure the compatability of product and surface.

Usage ClimateCooler Catalyst FlexRoofTopcoat

Always apply the CC Catalyst FlexRoofTopcoat on the CC Catalyst FlexRoofPrimer.
Two coats are necessary to ensure the right thickness of the paint.
If necessary dilute the CC Catalyst FlexRoofPrimer with 10% water when the first
application is done.
The second layer with CC Catalyst FlexRoofTopcoat is applied undiluted.

Technical Data

Composition: Waterbased, heat resistant polymers, sun-reflecting and catalytic pigments,
UV-stabilizers and nanosilanes.
Colours: Off -white, pale grey, aluminium grey, dark anthracite grey, black, tile red,
red-brown and dark brown.
Packaging: 20 l buckets, 120 l plastic drums, 600 l IBC containers
Density: 1,10-1,20 g/ml
Dry content: appr. 50 w/w% and 45 w/v%
Gloss: Approx. 20 at 60° angle.
Spreading rate: 2-3 m²/l depending on surface and application method.
Drying time: 90 minutes at 20°C and 60% RH humidity.
Application conditions: The temperature must be minimum 5°C with a maximum of 80% RH humidity.
Application: Roller, brush or spray.
Cleaning: warm water and soap immediately after use.
VOC: max. 40 g/l (Cat. A/c)
Storage: Dry, frost-free in closed containers and out the reach of children.
