CC Catalyst FlexRoofPrimer is a primer used prior to applying CC Catalyst FlexRoofTopcoat.

CC Catalyst flexRoofPrimer is based on thermostable polymers, UV-stabilizers and the latest generation of special insulating ceramic beads used in space industry for heat-proof and insulating coatings. We now have succeeded in transferring this technology into the CC Catalyst FlexRoofPrimer. Use of these special insulating ceramic pigments means that this type of insulating paint can only be produced as a grey-white coating.
However the unique combination of these ingredients paves the way for creating an optimal ClimateCooler system that will keep roof surfaces cool.

Roof constructions and attics will be kept significantly cooler compared to traditional painted/ unpainted roof coverings.

The CC Catalyst FlexRoofPrimer/ FlexRoofTopcoat system can reflect up to 80% of solar radiation in addition to the catalytic effect.
This means less heat built-up and less need for energy to cool indoor areas and in the end less CO2 emission which benefits the efforts to reduce global warming.

Usage:

Clean the roof for dirt and old paint. Growth such as algae and moss must be removed with Iso A-Clean prior to application of CC Catalyst FlexPrimer. The CC Catalyst FlexRoof Primer/FlexRoofTopcoat system is especially developed for flat bituminous felt roofing, concrete and rust protected steel.

The primer can be diluted with up to 10% water before use.

Pleae always make a test coat to ensure the compatability of product and surface.

Composition: Waterbased thermostable polymers and, UV stabilizers, thermo insulating nano fillers and photocatalytic pigments etc.
Colours: Grey-White. Density: 1,10-1,20 g/ml Dry content: appr. 50 w/w% and 45 w/v% Gloss: 5 Spreading rate: appr. 3-5 m²/l Drying time: approx. 4-6 hours at 20°C and 60% RH humidity. Application conditions: The temperature must be minimum 5°C by a maximum 80% RH humidity. Application method: Roller, brush or spray-gun. Cleaning: warm water and soap. VOC: max. 30 g/l (Cat. A/g) Storage: Cool, but frost-free in closed containers and out the reach of children.
