Product description:

Satin mat weatherproof silicone emulsion façade paint which offers an excellent covering of the surface and lets it breathe. CC Silicone Facade­paint has built in unique solar reflectant, heat stable pigments, UV stable additives and nanosilanes which offer a selfcleaning effect. The painted surface also offers unique reflectant properties, it reflects up to 80% of the UV and IR radiation this means a reduction of 20-25 °C in the surface temperature. To get the best result it must be used on mineral surfaces such as: concrete, sustainable silicate and plastered facades, this is also a fact for already painted surfaces. The unique water and dirt repellent composition of CC Silicone Facadepaint provides the paint to keep clean even in cities and industrial areas which sometimes are polluted by acid gases, such as  sulphur dioxide.

Use:

The surface must be clean, dry and sustainable. Growths must be removed using Iso A-Clean ( see instructions for use) Newly casted concret and plastered surfaces are not to be treated before the following year. Facades made of tiles or lime stone must be frost-resistant, free of moisture and ef­florescence. Very absorbent surfaces requires a treatment of SREP Primer prior to the application of CC Silicone Facadepaint. The application goes in two steps:

1) CC Silicone Facadepaint diluted with 5% water
2) CC Silicone Facadepaint undiluted.

Please note that CC Silicone Facadepaint must not be applied in direct sunlight and is not suited for flexible surfaces.

Recommendation: Always make a test coat to ensure the compatability of product and surface.

Technical data:

Composition: Waterbased polysiloxane, solar reflecting, heat stable pig­ments and UV stabilizers. Colours: Pale slate grey, Antrazit grey, mansion yellow, creamy white, white ( can be mixed to a large colour range) Density: Approx. 1,5 g/ml Dry content: 50 w/w% and 35 w/v% Gloss: Satin mat 2-5 Spreading rate: Approx. 5-6 m²/l Dilution: Max 5% water Drying time: 1-2 hours by 20°C and 60% RH. Repaintable: 12 hours Application conditions: The temperature must be 5°C - 30 °C and max. 80% RH. Ap­plication method: Brush, roller or spray Water permeability: Sd-value(m) 0,073 (DIN52615) Capillary water permeability: W 24 value 0,078 kg/m²√h (EN-1062-3) Cleaning: Water VOC: Max. 40 g/l (Cat. A/c) Storage: Cool, but free of frost in closed containers and out the reach of children.
