ConGuard systems for surface protection of concrete according to DS/ EN 1504-2
Three types are available: ConGuard Standard, ConGuard Creame and Con­Guard Plus. The products offer an impregnation system based on nano-chemical compounds.

The ConGuard system, the included products and the production site have been certified and approved by the German QDB (Qualitätsgemeinschaft Deutsche Bauchemie).

The products are CE marked and meet the requirements in the European DS/EN 1504-2 standard for concrete.

Application:

ConGuard is specifically designed for maintenance and protection of concrete structures. It is used for protection and impregnation of mineral surfaces, such as concrete, and all types of concrete structures indoors and outdoors, including concrete bridges, concrete houses, balconies, concrete sleepers, in short any place where concrete is used as an important or sup­portive element, and where the desired is to achieve optimum protection against water penetration and resulting degradation and erosion of con­crete. This way, the material maintains its properties, strength and aestheti­cally pleasing appearance.

Select one of the ConGuard impregnation types according to the purpose as well as the material strength and ability of the concrete to absorb the ConGuard product.

The product can also be added directly into the wet concrete mix.

Always perform a trial application to test the surface reaction and com­patibility with the ConGuard system.

Prior to application, make sure the substratum is clean and dry.

Colour: Milk-white, becomes transparent after complete drying Drying time: Approx. 2 hours depending on surface and ambient temperature Spreading capacity: 3-5 m2/l Application: Brush, roller or paint sprayer (at low pressure, max. 5 bar) Dilution: Use undiluted, can be diluted with water Cleaning: Water Packaging: 25 kg can, 50 kg can, 180 kg drum and 1000 kg Ibc Container Storage: Store dry at 15 – 20ºC
