Rubber

Fibercement

Product description:
Rubber is a water dilutable high build roof coating based on acrylic dispersions.

Product properties and use:
Rubber is suitable for roofs of fibre cement, concrete, and bitumen. Rubber is especially suitable for rather old roofs primed with Eternit Primer.
The coating is a high build coating that is very flexible, lightfastness, and weather-stable. It has good adhesion abilities and creates a good strong water-repellent surface.
Not usable on clay tiles and natural slate.

The practical spreading rate depends on application method, form and surface of the material.

Pre-treatment/cleaning:
The roof must be cleaned thoroughly using high-pressure and Iso A-Clean.
The surface must be clean, dry, and sustainable.

Stirring:
The coating must be stirred before use

Dilution:
To be used undiluted. On concrete tiles, dilute with 10 – 15 % water when applying the first layer.

Application temperature:
The temperature must be between 8° C and 30° C, and
Application method:
Brush, roller, or airless, nozzles 19 – 23, 180 – 220 bar.
To ensure the right layer thickness, apply the paint in two layers, each with a layer thickness of 200 µm.

Always make a test coat to ensure the compatibility of product and surface.

It is recommended to maintain coated roofs with a treatment with Iso A-Clean every second year – in order to keep the surface nice and clean.
