Stonecolor

STONECOLOR
Product description:

StoneColor was developed using the latest nano technology, including pigments, in a unique manufacturing process that introduces previously unknown properties, such as superior surface penetration, intensive adhesion, high wearability and extra UV stability as well as resistance to oil, water and most known chemical products in everyday life. Additionally, StoneColor is available in 5 standard colours and a colourless version.

Application:

StoneColor is a specially developed product for painting and surface treatment of coatings outdoors on absorbent or porous surfaces made of concrete, limestone, terracotta and clinker bricks. These types of coatings typically exist on surfaces such as entrance points, terraces and around swimming pools, however, the product is also highly useful on large public areas and surfaces, including floors in industry halls with one of the previously mentioned surface coatings. Following careful cleaning to remove grease, dirt, dust, etc., StoneColor is applied on the surface. Depending on the type of surface and for how long dust and dirt have been building up, use of StoneCleaner is recommended. After careful cleaning with StoneCleaner, wash off or rinse the surface with normal cold or tepid water. Allow the surface to dry thoroughly for approx. 4 – 12 hours depending on the weather and ambient temperature. Then apply StoneColor directly onto the cleaned surface with 1 litre for each 3 – 8 square metres depending on the application method and the surface condition and absorbency. In case of severely degraded or porous surfaces, priming with colourless StoneColor is recommended, possibly adding 10 – 20% StoneColor in the desired colour to achieve optimum priming colour. To maintain the original appearance of the coating and only reinforce the surface, exclusive use of colourless StoneColor in one or
two coats depending on the desired degree of surface protection is also possible. When treating surfaces with StoneColor, the best results are obtained by applying StoneColor 2 times with a break of approx. 4 hours in between. Depending on the weather conditions, treated surfaces can be used for light passenger traffic again after approx. 12 hours and for more intensive vehicle traffic after minimum 24 hours. Full penetration hardening will be realized after approximately 5 days.

Please make a test coat of the surface for controling the capability.

There may only be applied 1 layer Stone Color on a surface, so be careful with the work.
